‘Le Kov’ means ‘A Place of Memory’ in Cornish. This collection plays on the notion of returning to the safety of a calm summer’s cove, held closely on the wild Cornish coastlines of The Lizard and Land’s End. It’s a favourite place I’ll revisit in my mind’s eye – and my paintings – time and time again.
