Cornwall is known for its storms. Being located at the far South West of the UK, like an ‘almost-island’ dipping its toe into the wild Atlantic Sea, extreme weather is unavoidable here. Somehow this energy seeps in, nothing is fixed – so it’s good to just enjoy it, to get out there in the elements, whenever possible. Standing alone amidst the power of nature – either down on the beach, or high up on the cliff path – creates huge inspiration for me. But what holds my interest more than anything is the light that’s always there, high above the storm clouds, breaking through, triumphing over adversity.
